The Religious Community in a Time of Crisis
Here’s a pulpit editorial I gave at the Society last Sunday:
The news in the United States financial markets over the last few weeks has not been good. Many people fear that the U.S. economy and the financial system are in the process of a melt-down. Twice over the past week I have spoken with members of this congregation who expressed their fears that this country is on the verge of another Great Depression.
